Criminal Research Assistant

Requirements: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Criminal Justice or related field. A minimum of one year field experience in justice policy research, state/local government, criminal or juvenile justice program service delivery or related area is desired; candidate must demonstrate familiarity with SPSS, SAS or STATA and experience using large datasets, conducting statistical analysis, and examining statistical trends; candidate must have ability to communicate research and analytical findings effectively both verbally and in writing; and must be able to work with minimal supervision. Strongly prefer candidate with experience and background/knowledge in the criminal justice field. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge/experience with statistical software packages. Background/experience with performance measurement is a strong plus.

Work site will vary between the home office (VA) and client site (D.C.). Employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a security clearance process.
